I’ve been writing poetry for as long as I can consciously recall. Drawing and collaging, too. I was fortunate to grow up in a non-traditional household comprised of artists (two extremely visual and design-oriented individuals, a painter and a photographer, who saw/still see the potential for art in everything; my affinity for junkyards comes from them). Writing, drawing, and intense physical activity were/are how I process existential conundrums, joys, inequalities/inequities, and traumas. Everything I do, I want to wholly become.
